Cypripedium Rascal Calanthe mid-June in NCCypripedium 'Rascal' is a 1990 Carson Whitlow introduction of a hybrid of two North American native ladyslipper orchids, Cypripedium parviflorum var. parviflorum and Cypripedium kentuckiense. This 18" tall gem has shown amazing vigor in our hot, humid climate. The blooms of Cypripedium 'Rascal' are mid sized yellow pouches backed by twisting brown sepals.
